If you’ve raised a child in the last decade and a half, chances are Lightning McQueen has made his mark somewhere in your home. Whether it’s a die-cast toy buried in a toybox, a favourite t-shirt worn on repeat, or an iPad permanently looping Cars, this iconic red racer has become a household staple. And if you still own a DVD player, there’s a fair chance he’s still doing laps in your living room.

Over the weekend, our friends at MyConstruct.com and Bold Living sponsored a Lightning McQueen inspired car in the Porsche Carrera Cup.

MyConstruct.com’s Bold New Look in Carrera Cup Australia

It was an exciting sight to see MyConstruct.com’s branding take centre stage on an absolutely stunning livery in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia. Piloted by Brett Boulton, No. 95 made a statement on the track, securing P3 in Pro-Am for his Carrera Cup debut.

Not every day do you see a race car that instantly sparks nostalgia, but this Lightning McQueen-inspired machine did exactly that. A nod to one of the most beloved animated race cars in history, the Porsche’s red, black, and yellow design turned heads all weekend long.

Why This Was One to Watch?

Beyond the striking resemblance to Lightning McQueen, the presence of MyConstruct.com on the track signals something bigger. Seeing their branding on one of the most eye-catching cars of the weekend was a fitting way to showcase their commitment to performance, efficiency, and results, whether on the job site or the race circuit.

The Power of Passion, Partnerships, and Giving Back

Moments like these aren’t just about a logo on a fast car, they’re about building brand identity, and giving back to the communities that support you. Whether it’s through sponsorships, passion projects, or supporting industries beyond your own, aligning your building business with exciting, purpose-driven opportunities makes the journey more rewarding. These collaborations don’t just create visibility, they build memorable partnerships, spark new relationships, and show a little more of the human side of business.

Thanks for the Inside Look

We had to share these incredible behind-the-scenes shots courtesy of our friends at MyConstruct.com. It’s not every day you get an up-close look at a car with this much personality!
