The wait is over…the Goop Guys are officially hitting the road as the 2025 Dunga Rally kicks off tomorrow, 21 August.
This year, the rally means more than just dusty roads and backcountry detours. For the Goop team, it’s a family affair and a mission with purpose. Behind the wheel: Jordan, the son of Goop founders Kirstee and Shane Copley. Alongside him: Loraine, Kirstee’s 72-year-old mother, proving age is no barrier when you’re driving for a cause.
Already raising $10,000 plus to date, they’re part of a convoy of Aussie battler cars who’s goal isn’t to win…it’s to raise vital funds for families who need a helping hand.
“We’re not just in it for the drive,” says Kirstee. “We’re in it for the families. That’s what matters.”
The rally will take teams through some of Queensland’s most challenging terrain from 21–24 August, testing not just their vehicles, but their grit and community spirit.
The Goop Guys have always been about protecting what matters…and now, they’re living it out in the dust and dirt of the Dunga Rally.
From all of us at The Good Builder, best of luck to Jordan, Loraine, and the entire Goop rally team. We’ll be tracking their journey and sharing updates along the way.
