Queensland Day just got a whole lot louder.

On Friday, June 6th — the same day QLD turns 166 — we’re launching something new for the home building industry. It’s grassroots, it’s for the crew on the tools and the legends behind the scenes, and most importantly, it’s about time.

Introducing TGB Fridays — a community pub series built for builders, run by The Good Builder, and powered proudly by our Major Sponsor, MyConstruct.

Not Your Average Networking Event

This isn’t your average “networking” event with name tags and sales pitches. It’s a cold brew (not necessarily a beer). Food in hand. A yarn with someone who gets it. It’s for builders, tradies, and supply partners who want to unwind, connect, and back a good cause while they’re at it.

Why TGB Fridays?

We’re doing it for a few reasons — and all of them matter:

• To bring builders and tradies together in a relaxed space to have real conversations
  
• To support TIACS, an incredible not-for-profit doing the hard yards in mental health support for our industry
  
• To shine a light on the suppliers who make this industry tick
  
• And to remind ourselves that, even in a tough game, we’re better when we stick together
