At The Good Builder, we believe the best conversations don’t always happen in boardrooms, they happen over some good food, a few brews (not necessarily alcoholic) and real conversations builder to builder.
TGB Fridays is our way of bringing the industry together: real builders, real suppliers, real stories, no pretence, no sales pitch, just good people and even better company. And this time, we’re proud to do it for a cause that matters.
We’ve teamed up with the legends at TIACS, the free mental health support service for builders, tradies, truckies, and rural workers, to raise awareness, meaningful and needed funds, build community, and create safe spaces where everyone feels supported.

Why Are We Doing This?
This isn’t just a networking event. It’s a movement. For better conversations.
Construction workers are six times more likely to die by suicide than in a workplace accident.
On average, we lose a construction worker to suicide every second day in Australia. It’s not just a crisis. It’s personal.
Behind every job site is someone’s mate, father, sister, son, or crew member silently struggling…often in plain sight. Long hours, tough conditions, job insecurity, and stigma around asking for help are taking a serious toll on the mental health of our industry.
That’s why we’re proud to support TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter), a free, confidential text and call service offering mental health support for anyone in the trades. No referrals, no waiting lists. Just a real person on the other end of the line who gets it.
