If you want to see what your competitors are doing, or check out the latest trends in interior and exterior design, this weekend’s Brisbane Home Show will be worth a look.

Featuring more than 150 exhibitors and some of the best speakers in the industry, the show will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from this Friday 21 February to Sunday 23 February.

The Brisbane Home Show includes everything from home builders and furniture makers, to pools and plumbing supplies – you could literally get everything you need to buy, design, build, furnish and landscape a home.

Melissa Clendinen, General Manager of Exhibitions & Events Australia, who organise the Home Show said the event is an ideal opportunity for all builders.

“For those exhibiting the show gives them direct access to more than 20,000 homeowners actively planning their build or renovation projects,”

“The timing couldn’t be better – the state government’s initiative to speed up building processes, combined with our show’s proven track record of connecting builders with ready-to-build customers, creates the perfect opportunity.

“While for those builders visiting the event it gives them the chance to see the latest construction innovations and speak to suppliers.

“It also provides those builders with a deeper understanding of how valuable having an exhibit at the show could be for their business.”

This edition of the Brisbane Home Show features two dynamic stages designed to inspire and elevate your home and lifestyle.

The Home Inspo Stage brings together leading home designeExperts who share the latest trends, innovative ideas, and practical tips to help transform living spaces.

Speakers include James Treble, interior designer and presenter on Open Homes Australia, Axiom Construction’s Claire Perham the 2024 winner of the QMBA Emerging Women in Construction, Women in Building Award, and Kaela Turgeon from COLORBOND Steel who specialises in creating durable, beautiful exteriors,

“Builders will get to experience design from a consumers point of view,” Ms Turgeon said.

“They’ll be able to see what kind of information consumers are being given, or what’s been driven from a consumer’s point of view.

“I think that’s handy to be able to understand the mindset, and allows builders to get their hands on information about trends and external design they probably wouldn’t have had before. So I think that that can be a benefit to them as well.”

At the same time Home Inspo Stage, the Cooking Stage will be hosted by chef Carmel Carmichael, who will demonstrate how to make mouthwatering meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
