Team 149, known as the Goop Crew, have signed up for the 2026 Dunga Derby on the Sunshine Coast, a charity rally event run by Rally for a Cause. The event raises money for families and individuals dealing with life-limiting medical conditions or circumstances that have knocked their lives sideways through no fault of their own.
Not your typical workday. But that is exactly the kind of people the Goop Guys are, always up for a challenge, especially when it is for a good reason.
What Is the Dunga Derby?
The Dunga Derby is a community-based charity rally where teams compete in ageing, budget vehicles across a defined route, collecting points and raising funds along the way. It is part road trip, part fundraiser, and entirely entertaining for everyone involved.
Rally for a Cause, the organisation behind the event, exists to direct those funds to families and individuals who are facing some of the hardest circumstances imaginable. Medical diagnoses. Sudden loss. Life turned upside down without warning.
