When you think of golf days in construction, it’s easy to picture the beers, the banter, and a few questionable swings. But on Friday 18 July, AVIA Homes is hosting a charity golf day with a far more serious goal in mind, raising awareness and funds for mental health in the building industry.

The event will bring together builders, suppliers, trades and professionals at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Brisbane. All proceeds go towards supporting TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) and TradeMutt, two organisations helping Australian tradies start real conversations and access free mental health support when they need it most.

TIACS offers a free, confidential counselling service for tradies, truckies, rural workers and blue-collar Australians. Powered by donations and industry support, the organisation relies on awareness campaigns like the AVIA golf day to keep the phone lines running and the message alive.

With all tickets now sold out, the AVIA Homes Charity Golf Day has already proven how strongly the industry wants to show up for each other.
